After a 2-year hiatus, the Columbus Scottish Festival is back in action. Held at the Bartholomew County Fairgrounds the 2nd weekend in September, the annual Scottish festival brings a delightful Highland tradition to southern Indiana.

The 29th annual Columbus Scottish Festival celebrates the history and traditions of Scottish culture. Attendees have the opportunity to enjoy historical reenactments, a highland games competition, traditional dance and music performances, sheep dog demonstrations, whiskey tastings, delicious Scottish fare, and various children’s activities. This is truly an event with something for the entire family.

“Perfect for family fun! Everyone was so nice from the food vendors, the specialty tents and the kids area! Prices were fair too!!”

“Absolutely fantastic for the games, food, people, music, dancing, pipes and all the displays in the tents by all the different clans present.”

This year’s festival is on September 10th & 11th at the Bartholomew County Fairgrounds – 750 W 200 S, Columbus, IN 47201. To learn more go to scottishfestival.org or find us on Facebook!
